This presentation looks at how the ‘clean beauty’ movement has been winning over Brazilian consumers, who are more aware of the impact of their consumption on the environment, and who also value brands and products consistent with their moral values. In addition to concepts involving ethics and sustainability, the movement reinforces consumers’ search for effective products that do not pose risks to human health and whose claims of benefits have scientific backing.
